"Trape-Zape" is a group of  european instrumental music led by the portuguese guitarist/composer Fernando Guiomar.

The group currently has the form of a quartet with acoustic and electrical guitars, keyboards, bass and percussion. The music of "Trape-Zape" presents characteristics of "contemporary jazz" in its European version, with combinations of different musical languages resulting from a vast universe of influences in a meticulous work of composition and structured improvisation designed by Fernando Guiomar, where it is sometimes possible to find captivating games between tonality and atonality.
